US product research · Source checked September 12, 2026
This is a specification-based research profile of the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus. We have not physically tested this unit. Use it to identify the checks needed for your load plan, not as a guarantee that it will run a particular appliance.
Editorial status: this is a neutral specification reference. EcoFlow is not a current approved affiliate partner of When Grid Fails, so this page does not contain a commission-earning EcoFlow purchase link.
Manufacturer specifications to compare
- Rated battery energy: 1,024 Wh.
- Battery chemistry: lithium iron phosphate (LFP).
- US AC voltage: 120 V.
- Rated AC output: 1,800 W.
- Advertised surge output: 3,600 W; this profile does not establish the duration or an appliance-specific starting capability.

What these numbers do—and do not—tell you
Our screening approach uses the rated AC output separately from battery energy. A load below the output rating still needs startup, outlet and operating-condition checks. An energy requirement below the rated Wh does not establish the energy available at the AC outlet.
We have not verified usable AC energy under a refrigerator load, conversion efficiency across its cycle, or surge duration for this profile. Consequently, we do not publish a refrigerator runtime or automatic compatibility verdict for this unit.
EcoFlow describes X-Boost separately from rated output and warns that voltage-sensitive devices may stop under low voltage. Do not substitute the X-Boost figure for the 1,800 W rated-output check. Its manual also warns about AC timeout with intermittent loads such as refrigerators; review that setting before relying on backup operation.
Before choosing this model
- Build your own device list in Backup Power Map.
- Obtain the refrigerator’s running and starting requirements and compare all loads that may overlap.
- Ask for usable-energy or runtime evidence under conditions relevant to your plan.
- Confirm the US unit, included accessories, current availability and purchase terms with the seller.
A useful purchase decision needs both an output check and an energy check. Passing only one leaves a gap; a bigger advertised number is not a substitute for the missing evidence.
